En la Discoteca Dadá de Badalona tuvo lugar el acto de inauguración oficial del Club de Fans de Ricky Rubio que reunió a casi trescientas personas, que quisieron estar presentes en este primer acto. El joven internacional del DKV Joventut se convierte en el primer jugador de baloncesto con club de fans, al estilo de los cantantes más famosos.
El jugador del DKV Joventut, Ricky Rubio estuvo acompañado por sus padres y hermanos, estando asimismo presentes su agente Germán González, así como numerosos amigos y compañeros de Ricky. Xavier Morera, director de la sala Dadá realizó una pequeña entrevista al jugador, luego hubo sorteo de material deportivo entre todos los asistentes al acto, finalizando éste con un lunch en la zona privada de la mencionada discoteca.
El Club de Fans de Ricky Rubio ha sido fundado por Mariona Cárdenas, contando en la actualidad con un total de 380 miembros repartidos por todo el territorio español, y también de países como Tailandia, Argentina, Italia, Rusia, Perú o Bulgaria entre otros.
El base del DKV Joventut Riky Rubio, que recientemente logró con España la medalla de plata en los Juegos Olímpicos de Pekín, ya puede presumir, a sus diecisiete años, de tener un club de fans.
El propio Ricky Rubio, acompañado de sus padres y hermanos, acudió este jueves por la noche a la fiesta de presentación de esta asociación que se celebró en una discoteca de Badalona.
La iniciativa surgió partir de un ‘fotolog’ (www.fotolog.com/ricky_rubio9) que Mariona, socia del DKV Joventut, tiene en internet y que cuenta con asociados de diferentes países del mundo, además de España, como Argentina, Italia, Rusia, Bulgaria, Peru y Tailandia.
“La idea surgió después de que la madre de Ricky Rubio, Tona, me hiciera llegar un correo electrónico de una aficionada rusa en el que le preguntaba si su hijo tenía algún club de fans”, ha explicado Mariona Cárdenas a la Agencia Efe.
