Las votaciones oficiales para el All-Star 2009 de la NBA, que se disputará el 15 de febrero en Phoenix, comenzarán este jueves, a través de NBA.com, donde los aficionados podrán elegir a sus jugadores favoritos, entre ellos los españoles Pau Gasol (Los Angeles Lakers) y José Manuel Calderón (Toronto Raptors).
En la lista de 120 jugadores, 24 bases, 24 aleros y 12 pívots de cada Conferencia, aparecen 23 no estadounidense, once de los cuales son europeos, entre ellos dos españoles, que sueñan con estar en el encuentro que se jugará en el US Airways Center de Phoenix, como el alemán Dirk Nowitzki, el francés Tony Parker, el turco Mehmet Okur, el ruso Andrei Kirilenko o el británico Luol Deng.
Los votantes deben escoger dos bases, dos aleros y dos pívots de cada conferencia de la lista que ha sido elaborada por un conjunto de medios que habitualmente cubren la NBA.
Entre los bases del Este, junto a Calderón están Ray Allen (Boston), Gilbert Arenas (Washington), Vince Carter (Nueva Jersey), Dwyane Wade (Miami) o su antiguo compañero TJ Ford, ahora en Indiana, mientras que en el Oeste destacan Kobe Bryant (Lakers), Manu Ginobili (San Antonio) o Jason Kidd (Dallas).
Para el puesto de aleros, junto a Pau Gasol, que el año pasado se perdió el ‘All Star’ por lesión, pugnan Carmelo Anthony (Denver), Ron Artest (Houston), Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas), Tim Duncan (San Antonio) o Andrei Kirilenko (Utah), mientras que en el Este destacan Chris Bosh (Toronto), Kevin Garnett (Boston), LeBron James (Cleveland) o Paul Pierce (Boston).
Finalmente, entre los pívots, cabe resaltar a Dwight Howard (Orlando), Rasheed Wallace (Detroit) o Jermaine O’Neal (Toronto), en el Este y Greg Oden (Portland), Shaquille O’Neal (Phoenix) y el chino Yao Ming (Houston), en el Oeste.
El programa de votaciones para el partido NBA All-Star 2009 permite a los fans del planeta votar a diario a sus jugadores favoritos como titulares del partido All-Star a través de NBA.com en 20 idiomas diferentes. También estará disponible en NBA.com un widget de votaciones All-Star que los fans podrán utilizar en sus blogs, redes sociales o páginas personales permitiendo a otros usuarios votar directamente desde el widget. El periodo de votaciones continuará hasta el 19 de enero en NBA.com
Los 120 jugadores que componen la lista inicial fueron seleccionados por un conjunto de medios que habitualmente cubren la NBA. Este año los miembros de este conjunto fueron Paul Coro (Arizona Republic), Ernie Johnson (TNT), Jack McCallum (Sports Illustrated), David Moore (Dallas Morning News), Marc Spears (Boston Globe) y Marc Stein (ESPN.com).

Most of what you claim is astonishingly accurate and it makes me ponder why I hadn’t looked at this with this light previously.
